All About Chelsea
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Years practicing: I’ve been practicing for over 15 years, helping couples individuals and families find success and happiness in their relationships and in life and through all their struggles in life.
Specialties: I specialize in couples. I mostly see couples now. I’ve seen individuals and I’ve seen families but for the most part, all I see now is couples and it has been a passion of mine and I just love working with couples.
Why she became a therapist: Chelsea became a therapist to help others achieve happiness and fulfillment. Guiding individuals through tough times to find joy, even if it’s different from their initial expectations, is what drives her passion for therapy.
Therapy Style: She primarily employs Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a modality tailored for couples but also adaptable for individuals and families. EFT is recognized as a leading approach for couples therapy worldwide.
Favorite Self-Help Book: She frequently recommends “Come as You Are” and “She Comes First” to clients seeking help with intimacy in relationships, while also acknowledging the vast selection of excellent self-help literature available.
Second Favorite Hobby: Chelsea’s favorite hobbies include running, hiking, soccer, horseback riding, and almost anything outdoors, such as hunting, fishing, and camping.
Greatest Fear: Her greatest fear is drowning or being unable to breathe, which is a terrifying thought.
Best Movie/TV Show: The best movie she has seen in the past year is “Top Gun: Maverick,” which left a lasting impression and remains a favorite after multiple viewings.
Favorite Book: Her favorite books are by Kristin Hannah, all of which she has thoroughly enjoyed, along with “The Walk” by Richard Paul Evans.
Coolest Place she has traveled: Thailand stands out as the coolest place she has visited, offering an extraordinary experience worth recommending to
