Do you ever get in a rut and feel like there are no more good date options? It feels like you and your spouse have already done everything there is to do in this town. If that’s the case, then this list is just for you! Fun dates in Cache Valley:

  1. Make Something NEW - Ever wondered how great-aunt Betty made her apple pie? Now it’s your turn to try it! Find a recipe you two want to taste, or something you’ve never made before and make it together.

  2. Old Grist Mill - Okay, this place is just a Cache Valley classic. They have the best Cinnamon Drop Bread!   4. Home Improvement - Do you have any at-home projects you’ve been dying to finish? Now’s the time! Have the supplies ready to go and get to work as you improve your house together.

  5. Cross Country Skiing – This is one of those feel good exercises that you can enjoy together. The work helps you feel good and stay warm while being at a slow enough pace to give you and your spouse lots of time to talk. If you don’t have cross country skis of your own, they can be rented in a variety of locations like Al’s Sporting Goods.

  6. First Dam - A classic place to have a picnic, go fishing, take a little hike, canoe, play in the grass, and there’s even a playground across the street. While you’re there, you’ll get the chance to see all the ducks and geese wading near the water's edge.

  7. Morty’s Cafe - This is where you can find some of the best burgers in the valley. If there is nice weather, you may even be able to check out the valley while you eat up on the rooftop.

  9. Family History - The Logan tabernacle has heaps of free classes to guide you in learning about your ancestors. This helps you learn a little more about where your family is from and who they are.   11. USU Sporting Events – The atmosphere amongst USU fans is nothing less than high energy. There’s basketball, gymnastics, hockey, volleyball, and more! Find scheduling and ticket information here at USU sporting events.

  12. Hot Cocoa Hopping - Who has the best hot chocolate in town? Is it Kneaders? Denny’s? 7-11? Walmart? Maverick? Starbucks? or maybe even Firehouse Pizzeria? Get a cup from a few places to find your favorite. My current favorite is at Herm’s.

  15. Build a Snowman - Even if it’s not winter, you can do this with cookie dough, cotton balls, whatever you can think of. Have a contest, who can build the best snowman? Or work together and build some snowmen that look like the two of you or your kids.

  18. Drive through Logan Canyon - Okay, this one is BEAUTIFUL!! There are lots of trees, colors, mountains, the river. You can go all the way through the canyon or turn around when you need to. Along the way there are dams and hikes you can stop at too.

  25. Temple –This is a beautiful historic building that you can walk around. The grounds are always well kept with seasonal flowers and beauty as well as a view of the valley across the street. The gates are open Tuesday-Saturdays.

  27.  Stairs on Old Main - Are you looking for a fun way to heat it up with your spouse? A walk or two up these stairs is bound to raise the heat and bring on the sweats. Exercising together is a great date to get your bodies feeling good.
